For instance, chicken rice casseroles are not only hearty but also adaptable; you can add different vegetables like green beans or broccoli to increase the fiber and vitamin content. Including mashed potatoes and butter rolls makes the meal more satisfying and perfect for family dinners. Porkchop casserole is another great option that allows you to experiment with spices and sauces to suit your palate. Pairing it with lima beans or other legumes adds protein and fiber, essential for a well-rounded meal. One of my favorites this week was the golden mushroom roast served alongside mashed potatoes and lima beans. Mushrooms add a delightful umami flavor and are a great source of antioxidants. The lazy chicken Alfredo with asparagus, broccoli, and garlic knots offers a creamy and comforting option that includes plenty of greens.
