Because I love(d) him. Very simple, but VERY powerful. Not that there’s anything wrong with loving someone, but it has to be cultivated in a different way. Now Chat, don’t laugh at me 🥺 but I thought it was still okay to talk to this man AFTER the bad breakup bc I knew I didn’t wanna be with him anymore 🤨 or so I thought??
Once you start back talking, feelings start to arise & you start juggling around what ifs & dwelling on the past. 🙅🏽♀️ This new year, we are DONE with that, ya hear? NO MORE DOUBLING BACK FRIEND, I done did enough of that for the both of us to last a year 😭 I’ll just say, doubling back is worse than not speaking at all. Truthfully, I regret it to this day and wish I would’ve just left it at the first goodbye. 🥹 It’s almost the new year though, no woe is me songs, we can start fresh!

It’s hurts because i know eventually I have to let go.. we were so co-dependent as friends finding each other as an outlet to get away from the bad in family .. starting to realize I need him to not be lonely rather because I really love him for who he is (and it’s not) … and we have our good times but most is bad.
