Proud!
Even it has only been a little over a year since I started my running journey there has been progress and I am proud of that.

It's truly incredible to look back and see how much has changed in just a little over a year. When I first started my running journey, I honestly wasn't sure if I'd stick with it. There were days when getting out the door felt like a monumental task, and my lungs burned after just a few minutes. But I kept showing up, day after day, and that consistency truly paid off. One of the biggest lessons I've learned is that progress isn't always linear, but it's always worth celebrating. There are those runs where you feel amazing, like you could go forever, and then there are the ones where every step feels heavy. The key for me has been focusing on the overall trend of my fitness journey. I often think about that past version of myself who would be so incredibly proud of the growth and progress I have made. It’s a powerful motivator to keep pushing forward. For anyone just starting their own fitness or running journey, my biggest piece of advice is to just begin. Don't wait for the 'perfect' moment or the 'perfect' gear. Lace up whatever shoes you have, step outside, and go for a walk, then a jog, then a run. Celebrate every small win – whether it's running an extra minute, going an extra block, or simply showing up when you didn't feel like it. Those small victories build the foundation for lasting dedication. Finding a supportive community, whether online or in person, has also been a game-changer for my running motivation. Sharing experiences and getting encouragement makes a huge difference. Now, after a year of hard work and commitment, I'm stronger, more positive, and genuinely proud of what my body can do. My training has evolved, and I'm even starting to think about bigger goals, like tackling a marathon someday. It's not just about the physical transformation; it's about the mental strength and resilience you build along the way. Your fitness journey is uniquely yours, and every step, no matter how small, is a step towards a healthier, happier you. Keep going – you've got this!
