Out With The Old, In With The New🥦

As per my last post, I'm making a lot of changes by focusing on consuming whole, nutrient dense foods. These are a few of the swaps that I've made so far.

It's definitely not an easy journey to go from what you're used to, to something new. The flavors different, you aren't used to it and your body will take some time to adjust. The best way I've found to go about it is to make SMALL changes over time. Small accomplishments add up to big changes and before you know it you'll be like Cinnamon Toast Crunch who? 💅 (jk, I really don't think ill ever forget her 😭🤣 but we can try to tone her down a bit)

Anywhooo...Give your body a chance to catch up to these new items. See if they agree with you or not and keep going from there. 🥰

For instance, replacing regular lettuce with spinach or kale not only enhances salads but also boosts fiber intake, enriching your nutritional profile. Similarly, opting for plain yogurt over flavored varieties significantly reduces added sugars while allowing you to customize your toppings with fresh fruits or granola. Additionally, consider switching from sugary cereals, like Cinnamon Toast Crunch, to whole grain options that provide essential vitamins and minerals alongside fiber. These simple substitutions can serve as effective stepping stones towards a healthier lifestyle. Remember to introduce changes at a comfortable pace that suits your body's needs, as every small step contributes to your overall well-being. Always consult with a healthcare professional before making significant dietary changes, ensuring you align your choices with personal health goals.
