The mind as Mom is divided into two children & job
Being a mom often means dividing your mind and heart between your children and your job, a challenge many can relate to. From personal experience, I’ve found that this constant mental juggling can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when emotions pull you in different directions. The reference to "FIKIRANKU TERBANG DI ANTARA BINTANG" (My thoughts fly among stars) resonates deeply—it reflects how a mother’s mind wanders between dreams and responsibilities. In my daily life, I noticed that dedicating specific times to focus solely on my children or my work helps create mental clarity. However, despite best efforts, there are nights when worries about both spheres—such as whether my children feel loved enough or whether I’m meeting work expectations—keep me awake, as suggested by "SERING KU TERJAGA TIAP MALAM" (I often stay awake every night). Using mindfulness and setting realistic goals allowed me to embrace imperfections and appreciate small victories. For example, acknowledging that sometimes emotions may "MUNGKINKAH KU JUMPA DIA YANG KU CINTA" (Could I meet the one I love) is not just about romantic love, but also the love we crave for ourselves—self-care is important for sustaining mental health. Sharing these feelings openly can encourage other mothers who struggle with similar conflicts to understand they’re not alone. In the end, balancing two demanding roles is about continuous adaptation and compassion—for ourselves and for those we care about.
