People say LOVE doesn't need appearance, but fake😁

5/2 Edited to

... Read moreIn my personal experience, love and attraction are deeply intertwined but cannot be defined by looks alone. While many people argue that true love transcends appearance, it’s also undeniable that physical attraction often sparks the initial interest. The phrase "love doesn’t need appearance" is idealistic but sometimes masks the complexities of human relationships. For example, I’ve observed that when people say "Asalamualakum" or greet warmly, it’s not just a ritual; it’s a way of connecting beyond superficial traits. Genuine kindness, respect, and shared values often fuel a lasting relationship. However, initial attraction based on appearance can act as the doorway to deeper connection. Over time, as you get to know someone — their personality, humor, and values — the importance of appearance diminishes, but it rarely vanishes entirely. Instead, love evolves into something more meaningful when supported by compatibility and emotional intimacy. Rejecting fake portrayals of love that ignore the natural role of attraction helps to encourage honesty in relationships. It’s better to acknowledge that appearance and inner qualities both play roles, rather than pretending one aspect alone defines love. Embracing this balanced view helped me develop authentic relationships where attraction and emotional depth coexist. In conclusion, love is a blend of physical attraction and emotional connection, and understanding this complexity allows for healthier and more fulfilling partnerships.
