A silver moon on velvet night,

Casts its soft and gentle light.

The world asleep, a hushed affair,

A single star hangs in the air.

The whisper of a passing breeze,

Rustling through the ancient trees.

A distant owl's lonely cry,

Beneath the vast and endless sky.

In this quiet, peaceful space,

A moment out of time and place.

The weary soul can find its rest,

Upon the silent night's soft breast.
