💭 Wonderful ending to the series. So good. Was I in my feelings? Oh yeah. Did I cry? Absolutely. Was I at one point yelling at my Ipad “oh you better not! I dont care if he told you to! DONT.YOU.DARE.” Quite possibly. Did I also have to take a break because I had an “unfairness of the world moment”. I mean I knew they were, but she just couldnt catch a break sooner. BTW the author is amazing, and always gives us HEA, but when I read I live in the characters. I forget this. How? I dont know okay? It happens. Often if Im honest. Which is why I have melt downs reading sometimes, and need “unfairness of the world moments”. It doesnt matter the characters aren’t real they are real when I’m reading them sooo. Anyways. If you havent caught on it takes you for a little bit of emotional rollercoaster ride. It does wrap the whole series in a perfect little bow. Honestly, it took serious skill. This series is complex, with tons of characters, different supernatural beings, interal-ish conflicts, territories, and then the bad guys! I’m like wow, okay. She managed to do it beautifully though. Ripped my heart out while doing it beautifully lol. Okay seriously though, this ending book is perfection. The book kept me pulled in until the last page (very close to the end I will say I was pulled in to the point on panic, but again.. this isnt a bad thing lol). Loved it! Absolutely loved it. My favorite book in the series? Yes. Is that weird? Probably. IDC, but it is. I see all the characters, theres so much happening. It had me in a chokehold. Its my favorite book in the series.

💬 This Paranormal Romance is book 12 in the Immortal Accords series. This is the final book in the series. The romance in this book is mate bonds. The book is a adult romance book, and does have adult themes while still remaining fairly clean. The book moves at a quick pace following the characters introduced throughout the series coming up with a plan to defeat the citizens for a final time. The first half of the book does focus heavily on Key, a seer who has foreseen the upcoming events, and Jax as they work together. As well as them build a budding relationship together. If they fail all of the supernatural world will fall. The second half of the book focuses heavily on Derikles, and Celeste as they try to figure out a way to fix the current dilemma in their separate territories, as an attraction burns between them. Lives hanging in the balance. This book is fast paced, emotional, and addictive.

... Read moreAre you here because you typed 'Mortal Fates Book 2' into Google, hoping to find your next thrilling read? While this review dives into 'Between Imminent Fates,' Book 12 of the captivating Immortal Accords series by Anna Hawke, I completely understand that craving for an epic, emotional second installment in a fantasy or paranormal romance saga! It’s that feeling of wanting to get swept away into a world with high stakes, undeniable connections, and characters you’ll root for. If you're already a fan of long-running series like what 'Mortal Fates Book 2' implies, then you're in for a treat with the Immortal Accords. Imagine a world brimming with diverse fantasy beings, intense magic, and deeply interconnected character arcs that build over twelve books. That's what Anna Hawke has created here, culminating in 'Between Imminent Fates.' It's not just a book; it's an entire universe waiting to be explored, where every decision has monumental consequences and love truly fights against all odds. This final installment, 'Between Imminent Fates,' truly brings everything to a head. We see Key, a seer who's been burdened with visions, teaming up with Jax, building an undeniable connection while trying to thwart a devastating war between species. Their budding relationship is so compelling, full of tension and hope. Then there's Derikles and Celeste, navigating their own territories and a burning attraction amidst chaos. It's pure emotional gold, with heart-wrenching moments that had me literally yelling at my iPad and reaching for tissues – just like you'd expect from a compelling 'Book 2' or any beloved series that knows how to pull at your heartstrings. The emotional rollercoaster is real, and the author truly knows how to make you live in the characters’ shoes. The book's cover itself, showing a powerful man and woman against a fiery background, with a small sword hinting at impending battles, perfectly captures the intense, high-stakes atmosphere you'll find within these pages. It screams epic fantasy and fated mates, a visual promise of the adventure that awaits. You can almost feel the magic radiating from the pages, hinting at the complex world and the dangerous situations these characters face. The visual cues from the artwork really set the tone for the intricate story within. While 'Between Imminent Fates' is Book 12, for readers who love diving deep into established worlds, it offers a rich tapestry of relationships and conflicts. It's the kind of book where all the previous threads brilliantly converge, delivering a powerful conclusion. If you're hesitant about jumping into Book 12, consider starting with Book 1 of the Immortal Accords to fully appreciate the journey. But if you're feeling brave, this book does a fantastic job of wrapping things up while feeling incredibly impactful on its own. It’s proof that a series can maintain its gripping pace and emotional depth all the way to its grand finale. For anyone who cherishes the journey of characters over many books, and especially those seeking a paranormal romance where the stakes are literally the survival of entire species, this series, and particularly this final chapter, is a gem. It’s mature in its themes but handles them with grace, making it a fast-paced, addictive read that you won't want to put down. So, if your search for 'Mortal Fates Book 2' is really about finding a series that will utterly consume you with its magic, romance, and unwavering emotional depth, then I highly recommend giving Anna Hawke's Immortal Accords series, and especially 'Between Imminent Fates,' a chance.
