💭Spooky, spicy, witchy academia that’s a headless horseman retelling? Yes, please! I loved it! I loved the whole suspenseful vibe, and honestly, I’m still left asking questions like “hold up! I need more answers. We can’t be just left hanging like this!” So, will I be reading book 2? Absolutely! Without giving away spoilers, I need to know WTH is going on with these witches! Lol. It does have a darker feel with some topics and themes. So, if you have triggers, check the trigger list! The tension was good. I really enjoy insta lust books when the tension is there. I felt it was. The spice was also awesome. I love spicy books! The book also moves along so quickly that you easily lose track of time and get lost in this book. I loved how each of the MCs has their own unique and complicated backstory. I just overall really enjoyed the world, and I’m so interested to see where this plot goes in book 2. This was such a great and easy read for me.

💬This fantasy romance is book 1 in the Gothic Shade of Romance book set. The romance in this book is an insta lust. The book is spicy with open door spicy scenes. Kat was told to hide who she was, and she did until she couldn’t anymore. Kat must follow her family’s legacy and attend university. While there, she meets a teacher who she learns has more in common with her than she thought when her old lover appears back in town. The university is its own mystery with dark secrets, and now there’s a headless horseman running around, attempting to take their lives.
