Name is Esmeralda. I’m 33 years old. I’m Salvadorian-American. I speak English, Spanish and some basic ASL. Currently, learning Italian. I love to read, travel and sports. I have a passion for photography. It’s been a tough year, but I’m resilient. Currently, using running to deal with my grief. Life is a series of introductions, and my story reflects the beauty of diverse cultures and experiences. As a 33-year-old Salvadorian-American, I celebrate my heritage through language; I fluently speak English and Spanish and am learning Italian while picking up some basics of ASL. Reading and photography are my escapes, allowing me to experience the world from different perspectives, and I enjoy exploring new places and cultures. This past year, though challenging, has reinforced my resilience. Running has become my solace, a way for me to not only heal from grief but also to find strength in the rhythm of my feet against the pavement. I believe in the power of a smile even when faced with adversity, holding on to the countless reasons to find joy in each day. Through sharing connections with others who may experience similar journeys, I hope to inspire a sense of community, understanding, and strength.
