Perfumes I get complimented on Without a fail !
This are some of my all time complimented perfumes. This is how I would wear them :
Tribeca- Bond 9: I used at night when I’m going to an expensive event. It’s a moderate sillage however it’s long lasting . People around you or that walk past you can smell it.
I don’t need a prince…by Kilian: I would wear as an everyday smell it’s not strong and it doesn’t last all day. So I would wear it to work or to go run errands.
Desert Eden- Estée Lauder : For me it’s a long lasting intimate fragrance . It’s not strong but people close to you can smell all day. I would wear it for a Date night
Scarlet Poppy- Jo Malone : love this fragrance. I would wear this after showering it has a strong powdery smell that makes me smell clean . I would wear it before going to sleep. It’s long lasting and moderate sillage . #favoriteperfume #favperfume #underratedperfume #fragances #compliments
It’s truly a wonderful feeling when someone stops you to ask about your perfume, isn't it? As someone who cherishes that experience, I've learned a few tricks beyond just picking a great scent. To truly make your fragrance a compliment magnet, it's not just about what you wear, but also how you wear it. First, let's talk about the magic behind those 'compliment-getting' notes. Often, fragrances with warm, inviting, or slightly gourmand undertones, like the 'oriental vanilla notes' found in some of my favorites, tend to draw people in. These scents are often perceived as comforting, sophisticated, and memorable. Similarly, 'oriental floral notes' can strike a beautiful balance between classic elegance and modern allure, making them incredibly appealing and frequently complimented. When a fragrance has a unique yet harmonious blend, it leaves a lasting impression without being overpowering. Maximizing your perfume's reach and longevity is key. Apply your fragrance to pulse points – wrists, neck, behind the ears, and even behind the knees. These areas generate heat, which helps to diffuse the scent throughout the day. For an even longer-lasting effect, apply perfume right after showering when your skin is still warm and moisturized. An unscented lotion can create a perfect base for your scent to cling to. Remember, a little goes a long way; you want people to notice your scent as they get close, not be overwhelmed from across the room. Consider the occasion and season when choosing your fragrance, just as I do. A rich 'winter or fall night fragrance' with deeper, more intense notes is perfect for special evening events or cooler weather, leaving a sophisticated trail. For daily wear or during warmer months, a lighter 'day fragrance' with fresh or subtle oriental vanilla notes can be more appropriate, offering a pleasant aroma that's never too heavy for the office or running errands. Matching your scent to the vibe of the moment truly elevates your presence and often leads to those lovely compliments. Finally, while these tips help, the 'best compliment perfume' is ultimately one that makes you feel fantastic. When you love your scent, you carry yourself with more confidence, and that confidence is incredibly attractive. Experiment with different families of fragrances – explore those delightful oriental vanilla or captivating oriental floral blends. Pay attention to how they interact with your unique body chemistry throughout the day. What smells incredible on one person might be subtly different on another, and that's part of the fun! Finding your signature compliment-getting scent is a personal journey, but with a little intention, you'll be turning heads and receiving compliments in no time.
