Looking back over a career spanning 12 years teaching 3rd to 5th grade, it's incredible to reflect not only on the passage of time but the growth experienced both personally and professionally. When I first started teaching, I was inspired by my own experiences as a student, which were fresh in my mind since I was once in 3rd grade myself just over 9,000 days ago.
