The feline of war
Hey everyone! 🐾 It's been an absolute blast streaming God of War lately, and I wanted to share some thoughts and tips from my journey as a catgirl VTuber diving into Kratos and Atreus's epic world. You know, sometimes it feels like I'm not just playing, but living through their adventures! One of the biggest challenges, especially early on, was getting used to the combat. The game throws so much at you, and the combat prompts like 'Hold then Press' for light attacks or 'Hold Le then' for other moves are a constant reminder to stay sharp. There are moments when the draugr just keep coming, and I hear Atreus yelling 'More draugr!' and I'm just thinking, 'Seriously, how many more?!' It's intense, but so rewarding when you pull off a perfect combo. Speaking of intense, let's talk about the Norse mythology elements. Encountering Fenrir, even indirectly or through lore, adds such a deep layer to the game. When I first learned about his story, I was mesmerized. It’s not just hack-and-slash; there’s so much rich storytelling. As a neko VTuber, I find myself reacting to these moments with all sorts of cat-like expressions – sometimes it’s wide-eyed wonder, other times it’s a nervous twitch of the ears when things get really spooky or challenging. Kratos himself is a whole experience. His gruff demeanor and that iconic line, 'Focus up, boy,' to Atreus really resonate. It's a tough love kind of relationship, and seeing them grow together makes the journey so much more meaningful. There have been times I've literally shouted 'LEAVE!' at my screen when enemies won't let up, or muttered 'FUCK' under my breath in a particularly tricky boss fight. Those raw, unfiltered reactions are what make streaming so much fun! For any of you fellow gamers or VTubers thinking of playing God of War, my biggest advice is to really immerse yourself. Explore every nook and cranny, pay attention to the lore, and don't be afraid to experiment with different runic attacks and gear. The sense of accomplishment when you overcome a tough challenge is unparalleled. Plus, just experiencing the sheer cinematic beauty and the emotional depth of the story is worth every minute. It’s an adventure that truly sticks with you, and I can't wait to see what other epic moments Kratos and Atreus have in store for me (and you!) next.
