In 2024, I discovered an old sketchbook that reminded me of my previously challenging experiences with art. I've always preferred Prismacolor products, but I wasn't thrilled with the paper in my current sketchbooks. As I dive back into my past work, I'm reflecting on how far I've come since struggling with techniques and materials. Revisiting these old pieces not only reignites my passion for drawing but also allows me to evaluate how much I've improved. The colors I used back then, like dark green Comacolor and violet blue, evoke a sense of nostalgia. Through this process, I'm questioning whether my skills are truly changing or if I’m just overthinking my art. It's a journey of self-discovery where art becomes a reflection of resilience and growth.
