I need to get back on my bg3 grind
I havent played in months bc I've been either reading or playing other games (fortnite, webfishing, marvel rivals)
I have two unfinished solo playthroughs including my durge 😭
Okay, Lemon8 fam, I officially couldn't resist any longer! Seeing this stunning close-up of Astarion with his iconic pale skin, white hair, and those captivating reddish eyes in his dark, studded leather armor really just sealed the deal for me. After months of getting sidetracked by other games like Fortnite and Marvel Rivals, I'm finally answering the call of Faerûn and diving back into Baldur's Gate 3! Honestly, Astarion is a huge part of why I love this game so much. His character arc, his witty banter, and, let's be real, his incredible design just make every interaction memorable. That close-up shot perfectly captures his essence – it's like he's looking right at you, daring you to neglect him! I've missed exploring his companion quest and seeing how my choices impact his story. Getting back into a massive RPG like BG3 after a long break can feel a bit daunting, though. I have two unfinished solo playthroughs, including my Dark Urge run, which I was so invested in! The sheer amount of lore, the intricate combat mechanics, and remembering all the quests... it’s a lot. But the thought of uncovering more secrets, making those difficult choices, and seeing my companions grow is just too strong to ignore. Speaking of progression, one thing that always comes to mind is managing experience. For those of you wondering about 'remaining experience 0' in BG3, it usually means you've hit the maximum level cap, which is Level 12. At this point, new experience points don't advance your character further. But don't worry, the game is far from over! Hitting max level often opens up new ways to approach challenges, allowing you to fully unleash your character's build potential without worrying about needing more XP. It’s a great time to tackle those super tough bosses you’ve been putting off, explore every hidden corner, or even experiment with different gear sets. You can also focus on completing companion quests, which often have deep narrative rewards regardless of XP. For me, reaching max level means I can fully immerse myself in the story and character interactions without the 'grind' distraction. It's about enjoying the fruits of your leveling labor and truly becoming a master of Faerûn. I'm excited to push my current characters to max level and see what new strategies I can employ with their full power! What are your favorite things to do in Baldur's Gate 3 once you've hit max level? Any tips for someone trying to get back into their unfinished runs after a long break? Share your thoughts below – I'd love to hear how you handle the Faerûn grind!
