You might have seen her rocking her latest look, and I wanted to share a little more about how I make her 'outing days' truly memorable and unique. It all starts with comfort and safety, of course. Essa’s grey harness is a non-negotiable – it fits her perfectly, ensuring she's secure and comfortable whether we're strolling through the park or tackling a new trail. But beyond the essentials, I believe in adding a touch of personality. That's where her colorful beaded accessories come in! I spent ages looking for something that would reflect her playful and vibrant spirit without compromising her comfort or getting in the way. These aren't just for show; they're lightweight, durable, and truly make her sparkle. It’s so rewarding to see people smile and comment on how stylish she looks. If you're thinking of adding accessories, always prioritize non-toxic materials and ensure they don't restrict movement or cause irritation. Then there are her famous blue patterned booties! These aren't purely for fashion, though they definitely add a unique flair. Living in an area with varying terrains and temperatures, booties are a game-changer. They protect her paws from hot pavement in summer, icy paths in winter, and any sharp objects we might encounter on our walks. Getting Essa used to them took a bit of patience and lots of treats, but now she wags her tail when I bring them out. The blue pattern perfectly complements her beautiful coat and harness, making her look both practical and incredibly chic. When choosing booties, look for breathable materials, adjustable straps for a snug fit, and a good grip on the sole. What truly makes an outing "unique" isn't just the gear, though. It's the experience itself. With a smart and energetic breed like a Border Collie, mental stimulation is just as important as physical exercise. We love exploring new dog-friendly spots – a hidden nature trail we found last week, a new dog park with agility equipment, or even just a quieter part of our usual route where she can sniff to her heart's content. I try to incorporate little training games or scent work into our walks to keep her engaged. For anyone who wants to add a 'unique' touch to their own dog's outings, my advice is to think about your dog's personality and needs. Does your dog love to stand out? Are they sensitive to weather? Do they enjoy puzzle games on walks? There are so many ways to make each adventure special, whether it’s a brightly colored leash, a new squeaky toy to bring along, or simply a new route to explore. Seeing Essa happy, healthy, and looking her best is truly the greatest joy. Every unique outing strengthens our bond and creates unforgettable memories!

The last time I went out with my essa it was really annoying so me and my Sis had ours and I’m pretty sure we were at the park and we were on the swings literally minding our own business and there was these kids who were watching us from like the slides. I’m pretty sure and they would not stop pointing at us and laughing at us, but they literally were carrying Barbies around.
