BEGINNERS GUIDE TO SKINCARE✨

A skincare routine should be catered to YOUR skin needs ONLY! Everyone’s routine is going to look different, but these are my recommendations and i would recommend them for all skin types!

•NIACINAMIDE

It is great for minimizing your

pores, oil control and it’s just great ingredient for acne-prone skin! There is a wide variation of affordable products for this including the ordinary.

•HYALURONIC ACID

Really great for skin elasticity, extra hydration in your skin and something you can use morning and night. It is super gentle on the skin and their are a lot of affordable options for this as well including this one from elf skin!

•EYE SERUM

I personally feel this is crucial (even if it’s a cream) especially if you wear makeup like me. Having some sort of hydration under your eyes helps for a better makeup application and finished look. It also helps to hydrate dry under eyes. This one from L’Oreal specially helps to tighten the under eye area. I love to use a serum during the daytime and cream at night.

•MOISTURIZER

Obviously a moisturizer is important… even if your skin is oily! I prefer a lightweight moisturizer during the day to lock everything in and a heavier one at night. A little can go a long way so do not overdue it!

•SPF

This is a step NO ONE should skip! I love to use a tinted spf, especially when i am not wearing makeup. No matter what sunscreen you use, their needs to be a sufficient amount applied evenly over any exposed skin in order for it to be effective. Also using any SPF30 or

higher is a good rule of thumb!

... Read moreBuilding a skincare routine that works for you doesn’t have to be overwhelming. Start by identifying your skin type, which can be oily, dry, combination, or sensitive. Incorporating active ingredients into your regimen is key. For example, Niacinamide not only minimizes pores but also helps regulate oil production and soothes inflammation, making it ideal for acne-prone skin. It’s advisable to introduce one new product at a time, allowing your skin to adapt and monitor any reactions. Hyaluronic Acid is another hero ingredient, known for its ability to hold up to 1000 times its weight in water. This powerful humectant attracts moisture and is suitable for all skin types, providing lasting hydration and improved elasticity. Consider layering serums and moisturizers to lock in hydration effectively. Eye serums should not be overlooked, especially for makeup users. A hydrating eye cream or serum can significantly enhance makeup application and help with dark circles and puffiness. Choose products that contain caffeine or peptides for additional benefits. Moisturizer is a crucial step even for those with oily skin, as it helps protect the skin barrier and maintain hydration. Lightweight options are best for daytime use, while richer creams can work wonders overnight. Finally, never skip sunscreen! Using a tinted SPF can provide additional coverage and protect your skin daily. Look for a broad-spectrum formula with SPF 30 or higher to shield against harmful UV rays. By following these essential steps and product recommendations, you'll be on your way to achieving a vibrant and healthy complexion!
