My personal fonts!!

2024/6/10 Edited to

... Read moreIt's amazing how much a little creativity can transform something as routine as note-taking into a truly enjoyable experience, right? As someone who loves to make my study sessions both productive and pretty, I've found that experimenting with different handwriting styles, or 'personal fonts' as I like to call them, makes all the difference. It's not just about aesthetics; it actually helps me retain information better by breaking up the monotony and making key points stand out. It’s the secret behind my 'my Personal Fonts + notes :)' approach! You might be wondering how to achieve those aesthetic handwriting styles you see all over Pinterest. It's simpler than you think! For a clean, REGULAR/NORMAL FONT, focus on consistent letter height, spacing, and a steady hand. Practice helps immensely here. If you're aiming for a STRETCHED look, try elongating the ascenders (like the top of 'h' or 'l') and descenders (like the tail of 'g' or 'p'), making your letters taller and slimmer while maintaining legibility. This style can be fantastic for headings or emphasizing short phrases. On the flip side, the SQUISHED style involves condensing your letters horizontally, making them wider rather than taller. This can be great for fitting more information into a smaller space without sacrificing readability, especially for quick annotations. And for those flowing, cursive-like styles, what I sometimes call 'WHATEVER THIS IS LOL,' it's all about connecting your letters smoothly and finding a rhythm with your pen. Don't be afraid to experiment with loops and flourishes! To truly achieve neat aesthetic handwriting, consistency is key. Pay attention to the pressure you apply, the angle of your pen, and the size of your letters. Using grid or dot paper can be a game-changer for maintaining uniformity. Also, invest in good quality pens that flow smoothly – this makes writing less of a chore and more of a pleasure. Think about using a designated pen for specific styles or purposes, like a fine-liner for main notes and a brush pen for titles. Integrating these cute fonts to write in into your study routine can be highly effective. For example, use a distinct, eye-catching font for main topic headings, a slightly different one for sub-points, and your regular neat handwriting for the bulk of the information. This visual hierarchy makes reviewing notes much faster and more efficient. I personally love using a handwritten font aesthetic for important definitions or quotes, making them pop off the page. It's like creating your own personalized textbook! Looking for more handwriting inspo? Pinterest is a goldmine for pinterest aesthetic handwriting and cute notes ideas. Search for terms like 'aesthetic writing,' 'neat aesthetic handwriting,' or 'studygram notes' to find endless examples and tutorials. Don't feel pressured to copy exactly; use them as a springboard for developing your own unique writing aesthetic. Remember, the goal is to make learning enjoyable and effective for *you*. So grab your favorite pen and notebook, and start exploring your personal font journey!
