This isn't about skipping essential steps, but rather choosing potent, hardworking products that deliver maximum benefits without unnecessary layers. For anyone with dry skin, a streamlined routine can be a game-changer. Over-complicating things can sometimes strip the skin or lead to irritation. My goal was to find a routine that deeply hydrates, soothes, and protects without taking forever every morning and night. I've curated a simple yet effective collection of five products that have truly transformed my complexion, leaving it plump and dewy. Let's dive into the essentials of my go-to dry skin routine, focusing on the key players I can't live without: Step 1: The Double Cleanse (Cleansing Oil & Cleansing Foam) Even in a minimal routine, I swear by double cleansing, especially for dry skin. It sounds like two steps, but it's essential for getting rid of makeup, SPF, and daily grime without stripping your skin. I start with a gentle cleansing oil to dissolve impurities, then follow up with a hydrating, low-pH cleansing foam. This ensures my skin is perfectly clean but still feels soft and moisturized, not tight. Step 2: Soothing Toner After cleansing, a good soothing toner is crucial.
