I have 4 hours gap every Wednesday and most of the time I don’t have any assignments, because I do them prior, so I literally don’t know what to do, after getting something for lunch🫠and I don’t want to go home because I live 35 minutes away and I don’t feel like driving back? So what do you guys do?
Navigating college life can be challenging, especially with long breaks in your schedule. If you're facing a 4-hour gap, consider exploring your campus. At Grand Valley State University, there are plenty of resources and activities that can fill your time. Head over to the student union to meet friends, join a study group, or attend workshops that enhance your skills. If you prefer to relax, find a cozy spot in the library or a coffee shop nearby to unwind with a book or catch up on your favorite series. Additionally, take this opportunity to visit campus facilities like the gym or art galleries, where you can engage in physical activity or cultural experiences. If the weather permits, a stroll around campus can be refreshing. You might also look for clubs or organizations that have meetings during your gap; it’s a great way to network and gain new experiences. Ultimately, using this time wisely can significantly enhance your college experience and help you maintain a balanced lifestyle.

As a commuter student, it sucks so much when you have such a big gap in between classes. I feel like an hour is fine but once it gets past that it’s so dreadful because you just want to go home like everybody else but can’t. 🥲🥲
