What if I don’t graduate college?

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone ever get thoughts that they won’t be able to graduate from college or is just me? 🫠

I’m an engineering student and this is my second year in college but first year in engineering. My gpa went from 3.9 to 3.4 and I feel like it will just keep getting worse even though I’m trying my best.

If you're worried about your GPA, it's crucial to seek help. Consider utilizing tutoring services or study groups, which can provide academic support and enhance your understanding of complex subjects. Communication with professors can also be beneficial; they often appreciate students who show initiative and may offer guidance or resources to improve your performance. Additionally, it's important to focus on mental health during this time. College can be stressful, and managing anxiety is key to sustaining academic success. Practices such as mindfulness, regular exercise, and maintaining a balanced diet can greatly impact your overall well-being. Don't hesitate to reach out to campus counseling services for professional help if you're feeling overwhelmed. Moreover, explore alternative pathways if graduation seems daunting. Some students opt for a gap year to gain work experience or clear their minds before returning to study. Others may find that switching majors aligns their coursework better with their interests and strengths. Ultimately, your path is unique, and there are always options available to achieve your goals, whether that involves traditional graduation or alternative routes.

I feel like this sometimes. I almost pulled myself from the program but my advisors told me I could retake the classes I failed bc I was burned out. I am grateful I stuck with it. The end is near! But its not for everyone. Maybe consider a different major?
