Try to have plenty of materials and healing items. Keep an eye on opponent positions and the shrinking zone. Don't peek unnecessarily. Wait for opportune moments to engage. Sometimes, letting other players fight it out and then cleaning up is a valid strategy. My goal is always to get into the final few circles with a strong position and full health/shields.
