Need To Note:
If you are going in the winter, bundle up!! You will be in the mountains and the weather changes in an instant. One moment, it was sunny, and the next was cloudy. Bundle your babies up as well! The trail is approximately 2.5 miles round trip. So wear comfy shoes because you will be going uphill for a lot of it.
How to get there:
To get to Dinosaur Ridge from Denver, head southwest on US-285 S for about 15 miles. Take the exit onto Morrison Road/County Road 93 and continue towards Morrison. Once you reach Morrison, follow signs to Dinosaur Ridge. The site is located just outside the town and is easy to find with ample parking available. The drive typically takes about 30 minutes from downtown Denver.
⭐️Overall rating: 10/10!! This is such a fun and free activity to do with the kids. You can take in breathtaking views while soaking in the history of the area. There are also hiking trails in that area if you want to hike before or after. You will also be in the vicinity of Red Rock Park!
