Deployment Homecoming
Deployments are one of the hardest things to go through as a military family. Everything breaks, problems arise, and we just have to figure it out! Our bed seems to be bigger and colder without them in it. The phone becomes our lifeline for FaceTime calls and texts. For me, it was seeing our toddler grow and miss her daddy. Her face lighting up when she saw him on the phone. All of the sacrifices we make at home so they don't worry about that and can solely focus on their mission. So much goes behind the scenes, but it's all worth it in the end when our spouse makes it home safe 🥰
So to all of my fellow military wives and mommas, hang in there! Don't forget that no news is good news. The nights will be long, but their return will be here before you know it ❤️
