Book #1 “Twice as perfect” A Young Adult novel by Louisa Onomé, Twice As Perfect follows a Nigerian Canadian girl dealing with an estranged older brother, helping her cousin plan a big Nigerian wedding, and pressure from her parents about her future.

Book #2 “Like Home” Also a written book by Louisa Onomé. It’s a story about a girl whose life is turned upside down after one local act of vandalism throws her relationships and even her neighborhood into turmoil.

Book #3 “The sticky note manifesto of Aisha Agarwal” This book has a lot of humor but also some self acceptance, how to make yourself fit into boxes and also outside of boxes.
