I earn $700 in a week, on Staffie

During the week of March 3 - March 9.

As shown on the second and third pages, these are my shifts which I worked ( not in order ). All the fnb places I worked doesn’t require experience nor certification as I choose to do server. However because it is all one-day jobs, you need to arrived there a bit earlier for the manager/staff to show you the ropes, such as the layouts, tables numbers… etc. Total tallies to $700 and my pay was transfered on the following Monday, March 10.

Firstly, flexibility is key. Since Staffie offers one-day shifts mostly in the F&B sector, being open to different locations and shift times means you can accept more jobs quickly. I often took shifts early in the day or late evenings depending on availability, which helped me build up hours rapidly. Secondly, arriving early to your shifts is very important. Although no prior experience or certifications are required for server roles, managers usually provide a brief orientation or training before you start, such as introducing you to the restaurant layout and table numbers. This preparation makes your work smoother and increases your chances of being invited back. Also, keep track of your payments through the app. Staffie pays out every week, which is perfect if you want steady income without long waits. The payout I received was prompt and matched exactly the hours I worked. I also found that using the app’s referral program can add extra income. Inviting friends to use Staffie gives you bonuses on successful referrals, so it’s a win-win for everyone. Lastly, while Staffie is great for quick, flexible gigs, it’s helpful to also explore similar platforms like FastGig or other local apps offering part-time shifts in Singapore. This variety increases your opportunities to work more days and different roles. Overall, Staffie was a reliable source of income for me during my semester break and a great way to try out different F&B work environments without long-term commitment. If you need extra cash or want to stay productive during your free time, giving the app a try could be worthwhile.
