It's important to understand that serving our Creator isn't about exhausting ourselves or expecting rewards but about being genuinely available when we can and acting with compassion. Acts like feeding the hungry, clothing the needy, visiting prisoners, or caring for the sick are tangible ways to show love and dedication. I have found that integrating these acts into daily life with balance—rather than overcommitting—helps maintain both physical energy and spiritual joy. The phrase "Serving in Spirit and in Truth" means that our actions should be authentic, motivated by genuine care rather than obligation or external pressure. Being available whenever and wherever we can serve creates opportunities to make a real impact without feeling burdened. Many times, I witnessed that ministers or leaders might unintentionally mislead believers into thinking that slavish, excessive service is required for divine approval. This misunderstanding can cause burnout and disappointment. Instead, by embracing "balanced availability," we learn to serve more effectively with love and purpose. Yah’s pleasure is found not in sacrifices of exhaustion, but in mindful, balanced service that uplifts both the needy and the servant. Following this humble approach has transformed my spiritual walk, reinforcing the truth that faith expressed through loving deeds sustains both body and soul.
