Pirates dinner restaurant review

#storytime #review #restaurant #lemon8contest #lemon8diary #foodreview #piratedinnershow

I was invited to a dinner show and here is my review:

You had to check in 90 minutes early and even though it was sixty bucks a person and still pay to play with the inflatable games. Once we got in there it was a huge open room with a giant pirate ship in the middle, it was divided into different color sections that were the different pirates colors???

In the reservation we had we ordered many appetizer’s and it came with an entree and a dessert.

The appetizers were good I only ate the chicken and the nachos though cause there was so much, the other appetizer was this weird thing they called soup, it was thick and chunky, it tasted like tangy nothing. The desert was a chocolate slice of cake or brownie, it was dark I couldn’t tell but it was pretty good except for the coconut on top.

Overall the show was amazing, it was like a musical theater but they interact with you, I recommend you try it out for yourself. ❤️

... Read moreAfter my recent visit to Pirates Dinner Adventure, I felt compelled to share a more in-depth look at what you can expect, especially since people are searching for honest reviews! When we arrived, the first thing I noticed was the vibrant sign for 'Pirate's Dinner Adventure,' hinting at the themed experience ahead. Just as the original review mentioned, arriving 90 minutes early is crucial, not just for check-in, but to navigate the pre-show area. There were indeed inflatable games, but I was a bit surprised that even after paying a decent ticket price (around sixty bucks a person!), these were an additional cost. It’s definitely something to keep in mind if you have kids who might want to play. While waiting, I checked out the bar area, which had some fun 'themed beverages' on offer, like the 'Cutlass' or 'Salty Siren.' It added to the pirate ambiance, but we decided to stick to water for the main show. Once inside, the sheer scale of the venue is impressive. The 'huge open room' with a 'giant pirate ship in the middle' truly sets the stage. Our section was assigned a specific color, which corresponds to your pirate team for the night – a clever way to build excitement and audience participation right from the start. The decor really makes you feel like you've stepped into a pirate's lair! Now, for the 'food review' aspect. Our reservation included several appetizers, an entree, and dessert. The 'nachos' were a solid choice, and the chicken appetizer was surprisingly tasty. However, I have to echo the original sentiment about the 'soup.' It was indeed 'thick and chunky,' and truly had a 'tangy nothing' flavor. If you're not a fan of unusual textures or tastes, you might want to skip it. For the entree, while the original review didn't specify, we had a choice of roasted chicken or a vegetarian option. I went with the chicken, which was decent, nothing gourmet, but satisfying enough for a dinner show. The dessert, a 'chocolate cake or brownie' with 'coconut topping,' was pretty good – a sweet end to the meal, especially if you like coconut. It wasn't too rich, which was a pleasant surprise. The real star of the evening, as expected, was the 'show.' It's truly 'amazing' and goes beyond just watching; it's a highly 'interactive' experience. The performers are incredible, doing acrobatics, sword fighting, and singing, all while engaging directly with the audience. Being part of a 'musical theater' production where pirates are literally running through the aisles and challenging your section to cheer louder is exhilarating. It creates a fantastic, immersive atmosphere that makes you forget about any minor food quibbles. Tips for Your Own Pirate Adventure: Arrive Early, But Manage Expectations for Pre-Show: The 90-minute early arrival is real. Use this time to explore, grab a drink, and find your seats. Don't feel pressured to spend extra on the inflatables unless you really want to. Embrace the Interaction: Go in with an open mind and be ready to cheer, boo, and participate. It makes the show so much more fun! Food is Secondary to the Show: While the food is part of the package, the show is the main event. Don't expect gourmet dining. Stick to the basics you enjoy. If you're adventurous, try everything, but be prepared for some unique flavors like that infamous soup! Location Matters (Slightly): While all seats offer a good view of the 'stage' and the ship, being closer to the action or in a section that gets more direct pirate interaction can enhance the experience. Consider the Cost: At around $60 a person (plus potential extras), it's an investment. Weigh whether the unique, interactive show experience is worth it for your group. For a fun, family-friendly night out with a lot of theatrical flair, I'd say it definitely is. Overall, my 'review' concludes that Pirates Dinner Adventure is an unforgettable evening, primarily due to its spectacular, immersive show. While the food might have a few misses, the entertainment factor makes it a truly worthwhile 'dinner show' experience. Just be ready for some swashbuckling fun!
