I got a new gardener story time ✨
So my house I’m paying rent to my grandpa since he technically owns it and he hired this gardener that was his friend (not a good idea) the gardener said he would make sure there was no weeds, cut back all the trees, grow grass, mow the lawn, yk make it pretty.
I had this gardener for YEARS!!!! And my front and backyard doesn’t even look like we do anything to it, but could I fire him NO! Cause he was my grandpas friend and my grandpas too nice. I mean with this guy it was excuse after excuse of why the yard wasn’t nice. One day when I came outside and they didn’t notice me I saw one of the gardeners workers fake curing the weeds! That was a YEAR AGO! But one day I went to my aunts house to meet her gardener a couple of weeks ago and he gave me their number and said he would check out my house, the only problem was my gramps, so I had him over today and said that the new gardener was going to visit and bing bam boom old gardener gone!!! And the new gardener is now coming twice a month first starting with cleaning everything up before doing major work ☺️

Finding the right gardener can be a challenging task. Many homeowners have faced similar frustrations when dealing with subpar gardening services. It's common to feel trapped in a contract, especially when the gardener has connections to family or friends like I did with my grandpa. When selecting a gardener, it's crucial to consider factors such as experience, portfolio, and communication skills. A gardener should not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of your home but also maintain the health of your plants. Look for someone who offers a tailored approach, addressing your unique gardening needs. In my experience, I discovered the importance of seeking recommendations and checking reviews online. A qualified gardener will often have testimonials from satisfied clients, showcasing their skills in handling various gardening tasks—be it landscape design, maintenance, or specialized plant care. Moreover, it can be beneficial to establish a clear line of communication to discuss expectations and responsibilities upfront. Regular check-ins can ensure that your gardening service aligns with your vision. For instance, my new gardener was proactive and approached the clean-up as a priority before moving on to major landscaping projects. Remember that gardening requires patience and time, and results may not be immediate. However, with the right gardener, your outdoor space can flourish, turning it into a place of beauty and tranquility. Don't hesitate to make changes when necessary to find the perfect match for your gardening needs!
