Should I go back..???

My ex wants me back. He never did anything wrong in the relationship. He broke up with me bc he still didn’t feel completely over his ex and didn’t want to lie to me and be with me while he still liked her. I still love him but I like another guy who likes me and neither of them know about each other. Honestly, I don’t see myself marrying the guy I like but I could see myself marrying my ex. I don’t know what to do. Should I go back?

... Read moreDealing with complicated feelings in relationships can be truly challenging. When your ex returns, especially after a breakup rooted in their unresolved feelings for someone else, it’s natural to feel torn. The OCR content reflects deep emotions from the ex, expressing regret, love, and a desire to repair the past — phrases like "I broke your heart," "I’ll wait my whole life for you to heal," and "That’s love, never leaving, never fading" suggest strong intentions to make amends and commitment. However, your feelings of liking someone else — even if it doesn’t feel like a future marriage — add an extra layer of complexity. A crucial step is honesty with yourself and both men involved. Keeping the situation secret may cause pain and confusion for everyone. Consider reflecting on what you truly want long term. Do you envision building a future with your ex, given their past hesitation and the reasons for breakup? Or is the excitement of new affection more fulfilling? Sometimes, love isn’t just about feelings but also about trust, respect, and stability. Another vital aspect is the healing process mentioned by your ex. Genuine change and healing often take time. If their apology and promises resonate with you, think about whether you can rebuild that trust without rushing. Communication is key. If possible, talking openly with your ex and the new person about your feelings might bring clarity and reduce emotional burden. Also, exploring why you can see marriage with your ex but not the new guy may reveal underlying values and priorities guiding your relationship choices. Ultimately, making this decision requires weighing your emotions, future goals, and the reality of both relationships. Seeking advice from trusted friends, counselors, or relationship experts can provide supportive perspectives. Remember, it’s okay to prioritize your emotional well-being and choose the path that aligns with your happiness and personal growth.

What happens if his ex gets ahold of him and wants him back again. Will he drop you like last time?
