my relationship with God is something i will always and forever value!

i had no idea where to start with building my relationship with Him, but when i found the app glorify, my life CHANGED!

i absolutely adore this app, it has brought me so much closer to the Gospel.

i don’t always write everything down like this, but i do enjoy doing it when i can find the time, the app provides everything right there and it only takes a few minutes out of your day!

i am still trying to build my relationship every day, let me know if you have any tips tricks or apps to share with me!

... Read moreHey everyone! While the Glorify app has been a game-changer for my personal spiritual journey, I know 'bible study' can mean so many things to different people. If you're looking to deepen your connection, here are some broader tips I've picked up along the way, especially for making the most of your study time, whether you use an app or prefer a more traditional approach. First off, having the right tools can truly make a difference. For me, nothing beats my physical Bible. My black NIV Heritage Bible, with its comfort print and premium leather, feels so special – it was a cherished gift after my baptism! It’s not just about the app; sometimes, holding a tangible book and marking it up really helps the words sink in. I also swear by my spiral notebook and a good set of pens. I've found that actively writing things down, rather than just reading, transforms my understanding. I dedicate specific sections in my notebook: one for a 'Daily Quote' that inspires me, another for detailed notes on 'passages' – like when I recently dove deep into 1 John 4:7-10, exploring what it truly means to love one another. Then there’s a 'devotional' section for my personal reflections and prayers, and finally, a 'Daily Walk with God' where I jot down how I plan to apply what I've learned that day, sometimes even including reminders for breathing exercises to calm my mind before I start. Beyond just tools, think about how you study. There are so many methods! You could try an inductive study, where you observe, interpret, and apply a passage. Or a thematic study, focusing on a specific topic like 'joy' or 'grace' throughout different books of the Bible. Don't feel pressured to understand everything at once. Sometimes, even just reading a chapter and praying about what stood out is enough. The key is consistency, even if it's just 10-15 minutes a day. I try to find a quiet space where I won't be distracted, and I always start with prayer, asking God to open my heart and mind to His word. And for those days when motivation is low? We all have them! Don't beat yourself up. Just come back to it when you can. Maybe try a different format or a new translation to reignite your interest. Remember, Bible study isn't about checking off a box; it's about building a relationship. It's a journey, not a destination, and every little step, no matter how small, brings you closer.
