Nobody Told Us Menopause Wasn’t the Finish Line 💜

When I was younger, I thought menopause was the end of the journey.

Nobody told us there was perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause... and that each stage comes with its own changes.

The more women I talk to, the more I realize so many of us have been figuring this out on our own.

Ladies, what phase are you in? 💜 Let's help each other by sharing our experiences.

... Read moreWhen I first began experiencing symptoms, I assumed that menopause was a single event marking the end of reproductive changes. However, I quickly learned that it is actually a multifaceted journey with distinct stages: perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause. Each phase comes with its own unique challenges and physical changes that can impact mood, energy levels, and overall well-being. For example, during perimenopause, which can start years before periods stop, many women encounter irregular cycles, hot flashes, and sleep disturbances. Menopause itself is officially reached when a woman has gone 12 consecutive months without a period, often accompanied by fluctuating hormone levels. Postmenopause, often overlooked, is the phase after menopause where symptoms may ease but new health considerations, like bone density loss and cardiovascular health, become more prominent. I found that understanding these stages helped me better prepare and respond to my body’s changes. Talking openly with other women, whether in support groups or online forums, also provided invaluable emotional support and practical advice. Sharing stories helps us realize we are not alone in this experience, and it empowers us to take charge of our health. If you’re navigating this journey, I encourage tracking your symptoms and discussing them with a healthcare provider who understands menopause in depth. Lifestyle changes such as diet improvements, regular exercise, stress management, and possibly hormone therapy can make a significant difference in quality of life during these transitions. Remember, menopause isn’t an end but a new chapter, and embracing knowledge and community can make all the difference.

Nobody warned me that menopause would change the way clothes fit without changing the number on the scale. Fat redistribution is real. Collagen loss is real. The way fabric behaves on your body — real. And yet every “how to dress your body type” guide is still written for a 28-year-old’s proporti

You CAN lose the Menopause Belly!
I’m stubborn and I don’t like being told that I “can’t” do something.😜 I gained 20 pounds of fat all around my belly after menopause despite the fact that I workout daily, eat a plant-based diet & don’t drink alcohol. When your hormones decline, EVERYTHING changes. My doctor said “the men

Embracing My Menopause as a Sacred Rebirth 🌿
This year has been intense — emotionally, physically, and energetically. My body has been guiding me through nervous system training, COMT activation, and deep soul shifts I didn’t fully understand at the time. I’ve realized that menopause, for me, is not just a biological change — it’s a sacred

Strange menopause urge: Eating Snow
Nobody talks about the unusual perimenopause symptoms. One I have is the desire to eat snow. It's weird because I dont really crave it until something I see triggers it. Then I'll get my blender and blend some ice until it turns the consistency of snow. It's so refreshing. I am not havi
