I’m sick of putting myself last
I don’t understand it at all. I enjoy my singleness, and when someone disrupts that to try and get to know me, but doesn’t even put the effort. Where do I go wrong? Yes I’m a lover girl, yes I’m a romantic, and yes I’m old school. I love it when a man takes his time to plans dates, pay for dates, and make time for me. That’s one thing my ex knew how to do “Make me feel secure in the relationship”. Men DO NOT ruin a women’s peace if you yourself are not willing to put in that consistent effort. #Done
In today’s fast-paced world, many individuals find themselves placing others' needs before their own, leading to a lack of fulfillment and happiness. It’s vital to recognize your own worth and ensure that you are deserving of love and peace in any relationship. Like the saying goes, "You can’t pour from an empty cup;" thus, prioritizing self-care and reflection becomes essential. Additionally, it’s essential to communicate your feelings and needs openly. Healthy relationships thrive on mutual effort and understanding. When both partners are committed to building a connection, romance can flourish. Seek out someone who respects your time, supports your dreams, and encourages your growth. Remember, being single isn't a flaw—it's an opportunity for self-discovery and empowerment. Embrace your independence, explore your passions, and learn what it means to truly love yourself. Finding a partner should complement your peace, not disrupt it. Focus on creating a life that brings you joy and fulfillment first, and watch as the right people begin to align with your journey.
