¡NO RETROCEDAS!
Recuerda siempre: “TU NO ERES DE LOS QUE RETROCEDE, SINO DE LOS QUE TIENEN FE PARA PRESERVAR SU ALMA”.

Hebrews 10:38-39 is more than just a verse; it's a powerful anchor for my soul, a constant reminder not to let go. The original article beautifully captures the warning against turning back, but I want to share a bit more about what it means to actively live by faith, especially when the path gets tough. Imagine, like the image often conjures, standing on a long, winding road with towering mountains in the distance. Sometimes, looking at those 'mountains' – our life challenges, doubts, or setbacks – can make us feel like turning around. That feeling of wanting to 'shrink back' is real, and I’ve certainly felt it on my own journey. But this verse, "My righteous one will live by faith; and if he shrinks back, I will not be pleased with him," isn't just a threat; it's an invitation to a deeper trust. For me, living by faith means trusting God even when I can't see the next step, much like navigating that mountain road in a fog. It’s about more than just intellectual belief; it’s about a daily, active reliance on His promises. It’s choosing to believe He is good, He is faithful, and He has a plan, even when my circumstances scream otherwise. This isn't always easy. There are days when I question, when doubts creep in, when the world tries to pull me away from the truths I hold dear. But then I remember the second part of that verse: "But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved." This isn't just about avoiding destruction; it's about embracing salvation and the life that comes with it. It's a declaration of identity. We are those who believe. This shifts my perspective from fear of turning back to the joy of moving forward in faith. So, how do we practically avoid shrinking back? First, anchor yourself in God's Word. Regularly engaging with scripture is like refueling your spirit. It reminds you of His character and His unwavering promises. Second, cultivate a community of faith. Surrounding myself with fellow believers who encourage, challenge, and pray with me has been invaluable. They help me see clearly when my own vision is clouded. Third, practice gratitude and remember past victories. When I feel like giving up, I intentionally recall times God has come through for me. This builds my confidence that He will do it again. Fourth, pray consistently. Communication with God isn't a one-way street. Pouring out my heart to Him, and then listening for His guidance, fortifies my resolve. It’s a continuous journey, not a one-time decision. There will be moments where you feel like you're on the edge, looking back at what felt comfortable or easier. But remember the path ahead leads to life and purpose. My hope for anyone reading this is that you, like me, will choose to stand firm on that road, face those 'mountains' with courage, and refuse to turn back, living fully in the faith that leads to salvation. It’s a choice we make every single day, and it's always worth it.
