New Job, Late in Year

Never did I image getting a new job so late into 2024, but a new job was never on my 2024 bingo so this was fun!!

I had been at a 24 hour CVS Pharmacy working in the pharmacy for nearly a year and half. It was a really mentally draining job. Not because of the job itself but my co-workers. Mainly my PIC (Pharmacist In Charge). She made my life hell there and I was so glad to leave. And incredibly blessed to get this job! It’s a children’s hospital and so far- two weeks in it’s lovely. Even if it’s a honeymoon like phase everyone else is so nice. Everyone I speak with tells me all the pros.

One girl I trained with told me why they’re hiring. A new position was made and some other left for other jobs so, boom! I’m here and I can’t be happier! Definitely has been a rough ride with CVS but I’m so glad to be free of that place and advance my career as a Pharmacy Technician.

It offers a chance for individuals to reflect on their career paths and the circumstances that led them to this pivotal moment. Many find that a change in environment can greatly influence job satisfaction and personal growth. For pharmacy technicians like yourself, moving from a demanding setting such as CVS to a more nurturing workplace like a children's hospital can feel like a breath of fresh air. This transition often leads to a better work-life balance, improved mental health, and stronger professional relationships. Orientation plays a vital role in acclimating new employees. During this phase, staff members learn about the hospital's culture, procedures, and values, which helps build a solid foundation for success. Additionally, hospitals typically emphasize the importance of teamwork and collaboration, which is essential in providing quality patient care. The welcoming atmosphere that many new employees experience provides an excellent opportunity for networking and building supportive relationships with colleagues. Furthermore, adapting to new job responsibilities can offer a sense of fulfillment. as many have reported that their roles became more rewarding when they felt that they contributed to a greater cause. The experience of working in a children's hospital often reinforces the importance of empathy and compassion in healthcare. Just as previous roles created unique challenges, transitioning into a new job brings its own learning curves, requiring patience and perseverance. Ultimately, embracing change, celebrating milestones, and fostering connections can lead to a more fulfilling professional life.

How I got out of debt in less than a year!
Less than a year ago, we made the decision to get serious about becoming debt-free. It wasn’t easy—there were sacrifices, tough choices, and moments we questioned it all. But through focus, discipline, and a lot of teamwork, we paid off every dollar in under a year! It wasn’t luck, it was commitmen

Don’t make these mistakes in your job search!! When you utilize things like referrals and niche job boards, you exponentially increase your chances at landing a new role. The main thing I suggest is just apply to as many roles as you can. Earlier this year, I applied to 30+ jobs per week & l

I hated the way my nose looked for as long as I could remember. I was insecure most of my life and decided at 25 I wanted to have surgery. I had a septorhinoplasty to correct the cosmetic changes and my deviated septum (also turbinate reduction). This was my first major surgery and was surprised
