Pics of the week!!!!!
It's incredible how life can pull you in so many directions, yet each path makes you who you are! For me, Eva Terrillion, my world is a vibrant mix of intense wrestling matches and heartwarming moments with my beloved goats. You might wonder how these two seemingly different passions connect, but they truly do, shaping my journey in unexpected ways. Wrestling isn't just a sport; it's a discipline that teaches you grit, resilience, and mental toughness. As an EA Bears wrestler, especially in Grade 8 and looking towards 2025, every practice, every match, is a lesson. Standing on that mat, whether in a blue or red singlet, facing an opponent, you learn to push past your limits. I remember one match where it felt like everything was against me, but my coach's words resonated – 'Never give up!' That mental fortitude, that drive to keep fighting until the referee raises your arm in victory, is something I carry into every aspect of my life. It's a constant challenge, but the feeling of achieving a win after pouring your heart and soul into training is unparalleled. It's not just about physical strength; it's about strategy, quick thinking, and maintaining composure under pressure. The support from my team and coaches is everything; they're like a second family, pushing me to be my best self. Then there's my other great love: my goats! Switching from the wrestling mat to the farm is such a perfect contrast. After the adrenaline of a match, spending time with these adorable creatures is pure therapy. Each of my goats has such a unique personality. There's the little black one with the white patch on its head, always curious, or the one with the long beard looking so wise. Holding a tiny white goat or a playful brown one, feeling their soft fur and seeing their gentle eyes, instantly calms me down. Taking care of them teaches me responsibility and patience. From feeding them to making sure they're healthy and happy, it's a commitment, but one I wouldn't trade for anything. They are such affectionate and entertaining animals. Sometimes, after a tough day of training, just watching them frolic in the field or gently petting them helps me unwind and refocus. It's amazing how much joy these farm friends bring into my life. For anyone thinking about getting into wrestling, my advice is to find a good club or school program, connect with experienced coaches, and embrace the challenges. It will push you, but the rewards in terms of character development and strength are immense. And if you're ever stressed, try spending time with animals – whether it's a pet at home or visiting a local farm. There's a special connection there that truly heals. My wrestling journey and my goat adventures are both integral parts of who I am, and I wouldn't have it any other way!
