i finished acotar; my thoughts ✨

Ever since the series came across my tiktok i have put it off bc i thought it was going to be terrible just like most of those series are…mainly all the frilly stuff and barely any plot. However; when i read the first book i couldn’t put it down. I became immersed in the world and developed a connection to the characters, im so sad i finished the series and wish i could reread it again for the first time.

I want to either start fourth wing or throne of glass next.

- What was your favorite part of ACOTAR? (without spoiling for those who haven’t read)

... Read moreSo many of you are probably wondering, 'What is ACOTAR about?' or 'Is the ACOTAR series finished?' I totally get it! Before diving in, I was just as curious. Let me share my perspective on this captivating world by Sarah J. Maas, completely spoiler-free. First, for those asking, 'What is ACOTAR about?' Imagine a world where powerful fae courts exist alongside human lands, separated by a magical wall. Our protagonist, Feyre, finds herself thrust into this dangerous yet beautiful realm after an act of survival. What unfolds is a breathtaking journey of self-discovery, intricate politics, forbidden romance, and epic battles. Sarah J. Maas crafts a universe so rich and characters so compelling, you can't help but get lost. It's truly a series that reignites your passion for reading, inviting you to escape into a realm of magic, adventure, and deep emotional connections. The descriptions of snowy mountains under a starry sky and enchanting fae cities are just incredible! Next, the big question: 'Is the ACOTAR series finished?' and 'What about Sarah J. Maas ACOTAR book 6?' It's a bit nuanced! While the initial compelling arc of Feyre's story largely concludes, the wider ACOTAR universe by Sarah J. Maas is very much alive and expanding. There are companion novels, like *A Court of Silver Flames*, that delve into other beloved characters' journeys, plus exciting future books planned. So, while you might finish one part of the saga, there's always more magic waiting to be explored within this incredible series. The overarching story continues to evolve, making it a truly immersive experience for long-time fans and new readers alike. What makes this series so utterly addictive? It's the emotional depth and the way you connect with the characters. You’ll find yourself rooting for them, gasping at plot twists, and falling in love with the intricate relationships. As someone who was initially skeptical, thinking it might just be another 'frilly' fantasy, I can offer a strong recommendation. This series genuinely brought back my love for reading, making me want to devour every word and then immediately pick up another book. If you're looking for an escape, a world to lose yourself in, then ACOTAR is definitely it. I still wish I could reread it again for the first time!
