Art Give Away!
Should I do a weekly art giveaway?
I'm trying to grow a following on here so that I can share my music and acting experiences with the world! I am also quite an artist when it comes to crafts, I used to sell my art. But selling art just isn't fun for me, I would rather give it away to people who believe in my work and are there with me on my journey.
Maybe I could set up a weekly art giveaway to new followers who like and comment on my profile? I want an authentic and natural following, I don't want to pay tiktok or insta to grow my posts 🫥.
Growing an audience as an artist can be challenging, but hosting weekly art giveaways can significantly enhance your engagement and connection with followers. By offering pieces of your craft for free, you invite genuine interaction from art enthusiasts who appreciate your work and want to support your journey. To effectively manage your giveaways, consider setting clear rules. Encourage participants to like, comment, and share your posts as part of the entry criteria. This creates an active community around your work and promotes organic growth. Utilize popular hashtags like #Artist and #ArtGiveaway to increase visibility and attract a wider audience. Be sure to showcase your artwork in high-quality images and share insights about your creative process. This not only captivates viewers but also enhances your credibility as an artist. Engaging stories about your art can turn casual viewers into loyal followers. Another essential aspect is consistency. If you decide to hold weekly art giveaways, stick to a regular schedule so your audience knows when to expect them. This builds anticipation and encourages more interaction. Moreover, engaging with participants and thanking them for their support after each giveaway can strengthen your community bond. By sharing your gratitude and responding to comments, you’ll encourage others to get involved. In a world where many artists may feel pressured to sell their art, focusing on giveaways not only relieves that pressure but reinforces a sense of camaraderie within the art community.
