Remembering Jevan Snead (1987–2019). Born in San Angelo and raised in Stephenville, Snead was a Texas high school football star who originally committed to Florida before flipping to the Longhorns.
After backing up Colt McCoy, he transferred to Ole Miss and became a standout QB, leading the Rebels to upset wins over Florida and LSU and back-to-back Cotton Bowls.
Known for his rocket arm and grit, he passed away in Austin on Sept 21, 2019, at just 32 years old.
Do you remember watching him play?
