4 Years Traveling the U.S. Teaching Self Defense
I can’t believe it’s already been 44 states and 4 years of traveling the US teaching self defense -
it's WILD to me that sororities are supposed to be a primary empowering resource for college women yet most of them don't have an actual budget set aside for self-defense and if they do it tends to be quite small... how is a self-defense class not REQUIRED?
soooo it's my mission to make sure as many women as possible get this information throughout their college experience so hopefully EA can put even just a small dent in the statistics we see regarding crimes against women...
AND I want to make it so all young women can go out and confidently live life without day to day fear and be independent mentally, situationally, and physically -
some of which are tools I had to find the hard way so I strive to make it as easy as possible for the college women I work with to acquire their Everyday Armor 💜
SO READY FOR 2025 BABYYY 👊🏼
Self-defense is an essential skill for women, yet it often remains underfunded in many college programs, including sororities. This gap presents a significant risk, as studies show that women are disproportionately affected by crime. Educating young women about self-defense not only increases their physical capabilities but also boosts their confidence and situational awareness. To establish a world where women can navigate life without fear, it's crucial to advocate for more self-defense classes in educational institutions. These classes should encompass various topics, including verbal self-defense, physical techniques, and awareness strategies to help women recognize and avoid potentially harmful situations. Recent trends demonstrate a growing demand for self-defense training tailored specifically for women. Many organizations have begun to address this need by providing workshops, seminars, and hands-on training. Integrating self-defense education into college curricula will not only empower students but also foster a supportive community where women can share experiences and strategies for personal safety. In conclusion, providing self-defense education is vital to improving the overall safety of women in college and beyond. By prioritizing such initiatives, we can work towards a future where every woman feels safe and equipped to face life's challenges with confidence and independence.
