Foodie List 🥂: Foodieland in Fort Worth, TX

I went to a food festival called #foodieland at Texas Motor Speedway as a single “missing my man” girlie, and here is how it went:

Getting there, of course, all I see is #couples with cute, matching sweaters, cuddling up because obviously this is an event that you would typically take your family or significant other to basically grub and enjoy all the “big back” #foods that y’all can handle!

I admired that for a moment and realize that even without a man, I love BIG BACK ACTIVITIES and I’m about to have a GREAT time! 😌 So I started my search for the first spot!

I walked up and down all of the lines of foods because I was trying to see which one that I would want to start off first, but I was FOCUSED ON ensuring that I didn’t get full too fast. Obviously that would’ve messed up the whole plan!

⭐️1. I saw this EGG ROLL stand that had a variety of different meat combinations and I went with the Blue Crab Eggrolls 🦀 , which were absolutely delicious and stuffed to the RIM of fresh blue crab meat!

⭐️2. While I waited for my eggrolls to be fried crispy and fresh for me. I scrolled over to “FLAVORZ”, which I had already seen on Instagram had good food. The menu included full-size meals so OXTAIL TACOS 🌮 was the only thing they had in smaller portions 🤤

now the oxtail tacos only took three minutes to complete so I was able to taste that first and BABY, it is something to talk about and you definitely should try it! THE FLAVORS WERE FLAVORING! As I was grubbing on the oxtail tacos, I walked back over to the eggroll stand and picked up my eggrolls. -No Ma’am I NEVER sat down hehehe 🤭 this was a very intentional #txfoodreview tour lol

Now, at this point, I realize that I’m not gonna be able to hold these eggrolls AND these oxtail tacos at the same time nor should I try to finish all of these tacos because I’m gonna be FULL ! —— So I demolished the eggrolls which were delicious and fresh, and took the remaining of my oxtail tacos to my car! SHOUT OUT to the lady at the front who refreshed my ticket so that I can get back in. The event was NO RE-ENTRY.

Once I got back from my car, I was ready to go AGAIN! Immediately walking in I see an oyster stand and in 2024, I decided that I was a “oyster girl” and so we was gonna continue the theme LMAO 😜

⭐️3. They had about six different flavors so I told the cashier to pick the flavors and give me four and that’s exactly what she did ! 🤏🏽🤏🏽 the oysters was good but I do think they were grilled a little too long but overall we give it a 6/10!!

All those oysters did was tickle my tummy so I was on the prowl for another eating session. LMAO.

🌟4. I headed to the opposite side of the festival and found this spot that sold FRIED BABY SOFT SHELL CRABS 🦀. If it ain’t one thing, I love is some softshell fried crabs. They gave me some type of spicy red sauce. I barely dipped them things in there, but it was good. 10/10 and YES, you’re supposed to eat the whole thing girl!

I started walking around a little bit, trying to check the temperatures on my stomach to determine if I can go a little further… And I found a little space on the side of my stomach YAY! 🤸🏽‍♀️

🌟5. There was this BIG BANNER with wings on it and they look delicious 🤤 so I walked up to the stand (there was no line 🙌🏽) and asked the cashier what was the best wings they had and she said lemon pepper, in her opinion of course 😊 . I love lemon pepper down anyway so that’s what we went with the YUZI LEMON PEPPER FRIED WINGS 👏🏾 we are going to go ahead and give that a 10/10 probably the best lemon pepper wings I’ve had! And I’m from ATLANTA 👀! Lol

I grabbed on that for a minute and contemplated going back to my car to drop it off, but I decided that I was gonna go ahead and get me a dessert because it was getting cold. It was drizzling and baby I was kind of ready to go

6. so I stopped at this long line to get CHURROS and I must say it was worth the wait. 20 DAMN MINUTES TO BE EXACT! LMAO I ended up ordering SWEET CONDENSED MILK STUFFED CHURROS, and a HOT CHOCOLATE ☕️ for the road! Girl, the churros was so good and soft and sweet all at one time I fell in love 🥰…… kinda like how I would wish I was in love right now sharing this food, but we’re not gonna get too sad LMAO 😒🤣

Overall, I’m so happy that I went. I had such a great time with myself honestly and I didn’t have to worry about nobody else’s opinion. I just got what I wanted and ate as I pleased 🤏🏽. Now, a lot of the places had LARGE PORTIONS so I do recommend going with somebody to the next FOODIELAND event in #DALLASTEXAS , which will be held at FAIR PARK!

I’ve already gotten my tickets for the FAIR PARK event at the end of MARCH! Yes, IM GOING AGAIN! But this time I’m bringing the ladies with me so I will be able to try more options! If you’re thinking about it, go ahead and DO IT GIRL! Tickets are only $7 💵 right now! ☺️ Don’t piss me off!
