Made a wheelchair for a disabled animal for the first time in his life.

For the first time in my life, I did something like this. 🥹

Normally taking pictures, writing reviews, but today I really caught the saw, caught the drill, assembled the PVC pipe myself to make a wheelchair for the disabled dog-cat. At first I was brave, scared, but when I tried it, I felt that it was worth it because what we did would help one of the younger to come back and play again.

Actually, it is not difficult. Everyone with the equipment can do it by themselves. Because the team who designed this set, they said that it is easy to do, easy to assemble, but it works to answer the most problems, so would like to share the method with friends in case anyone would like to volunteer to help the team do it. ☺️

⚙️ Equipment (For 1 Wheelchair)

-2 pcs of 40cm long PVC pipe

-2pcs long PVC pipe

-1pc long PVC pipe

-1pc long PVC pipe

-4 pcs long PVC pipe

- 4 pcs of 90 degree bent pipe

-4 pieces of 3-way extension pipe

- 2 pieces of non-threaded stopper joint

- Two lanyards.

- 2 sponges

- 2 foam wheels (choose not too heavy)

- 2 adjustable straps

-Drill Head Thread Shot Nut + Ring (No glue is used, because the nut makes it also able to fix the size of the workpiece)

- Drill.

- Saw or pipe cutting scissors (I personally think it's more convenient to use a saw)

- Wooden stick / Rubber hammer

🛠️ How to assemble

Not difficult to assemble

When connecting pipes to joints, use a stick / rubber hammer to smash them tightly.

And every joint has to penetrate the nut to prevent it.

For fastening the hose and strap to the pipe, the van band must be added to the nut for strength.

🔸 Terms of Use (recommended team)

- Put in 10-20 minutes at a time.

- When running / exercising only, should not wear all the time

- Must be taken care of, will overturn, deadly, so if found by the road, can not be used because there is a period when he has to adjust to use, if there is no person to take care of, dangerous.

- This material can receive no more than 20kg. If more than this, other materials must be used (consult the team).

📏 More about measuring size.

Usually, the size is measured to suit each one, but since ours is a workshop, including many people, the team uses a medium size, so we do not know what the size will be according to the body size, but if anyone wants the page to do, can measure the size as told.

- Height, toe-shoulder.

(Disabled rear leg, temple front leg, disabled front leg, temple back leg)

- Wide (fat) See the widest part. Lay floating, not attached to the trunk.

- Long, shoulder-hip.

(Recommended to use a measure because it should be more stable than a flexible measuring line)

This wheelchair is not just a dog, cat, duck, chicken (we saw when the team opened the picture).
