Unbigging my back

So of course I had my daughter about 5 months ago, and I wasn’t happy with my body due to having an emergency c-section. I was sad each time I looked in the mirror so I decided to do something about it.

I got in the gym! I’ve been consistently working out in the gym for 3-5 days out of the week and look at my progress! This is over the course of 3 months. I’m more toned and stronger. My back and waist are also smaller. The only thing I struggle with is the eating part. Some days I eat 1 meal a day, other days I eat fatty foods, and some days I eat healthily. I just remind myself that it’s okay to have cheat days, just keep going. I’m excited to keep going to see what my progress will look like by the end of the year. I will keep yall updated!

Emergency C-sections, in particular, can lead to unexpected physical changes, including weight gain and altered body shapes. It's important to remember that recovery takes time, and focusing on gradual improvements can foster a healthier mindset. Incorporating exercise into your routine, like I've done by consistently hitting the gym 3-5 days a week, is essential for rebuilding strength and confidence. Moreover, maintaining a balance with nutrition is equally crucial. It's common to struggle with eating patterns during this transition, especially when managing cravings or temptations. Setting achievable fitness goals, allowing for indulgence on cheat days, and celebrating progress no matter how small can be incredibly motivating. Joining support groups or seeking advice from fitness trainers can also provide encouragement and practical tips. Remember, the journey to reclaiming your body is personal and unique for everyone. Keep nurturing yourself—body, mind, and soul!
