Replying to @Weeweepiss I never hosted, but when I performed for Disney Cruise Line, we were lucky enough to have Peter on board and he’d join us sometimes For my shows in the kids club. Like most of the characters on board, he usually took care of himself 9/10 and I never heard about issues during my time.

Sometimes adults were even allowed into the kids’ spaces for special shows, drinks in hand, and they were still perfectly well behaved. If I had to deal with this situation, I definitely think I would get in trouble for not being as nice as possible, but I would absolutely be going off set as soon as possible to tell my supervisor. That’s just my guess, though. Also, my supervisor wouldn’t have messed around.

I don’t know why the adults during my time on board were so cool, but I honestly think they were just as terrified as the rest of us of getting kicked off at port LMAO. I’m being dead serious, too.

Follow if you don’t want to get kicked off at port.

... Read moreHaving spent some time performing on a Disney Cruise Line myself, I can say that the onboard environment is truly unique when it comes to balancing fun and discipline, especially in the kids' clubs. One of the more memorable aspects was how characters such as Peter Pan would casually join in the shows, creating magical moments for kids—and even for the lucky adults present. What's interesting is how most adults who attend these family-centered events on the cruise maintain a surprisingly respectful attitude. Drinks in hand, they mingle and enjoy the shows but respect boundaries, likely aware that any misbehavior could lead to being removed from the ship at the next port. From what I witnessed, the cruise staff and supervisors take their roles seriously. If a performer or crew member spots any disruptive behavior, they quickly report it to supervisors to ensure the experience remains safe and enjoyable for everyone. During my time, adults seemed almost as mindful and cautious as the children, likely anxious to avoid any trouble that could interrupt their vacation. It’s a shared understanding onboard that creating a joyful environment depends on everyone respecting the rules and the characters’ space. The hashtags like #disneyadulting and #disneycruise truly capture the essence of these experiences—where adults get to reconnect with their inner child while being mindful of the family-friendly atmosphere. If you’re planning a Disney Cruise, remember that while the fun is encouraged, maintaining decorum is key to fully enjoying the magic without any hiccups. Taking part in dance parties, storytimes, and meet-and-greet sessions with characters like Peter Pan can be the highlight of your trip, provided you respect the guidelines and the performers. Overall, this balance between whimsy and discipline is what makes Disney Cruises special, giving performers and guests alike a safe and enchanting experience at sea.
