What I do with my Flower form my bf:
Every time my boyfriend buys me flowers I wait until there almost dead: I cut the stems off and freeze the actual flower ! Once our wedding day games I’ll defrost off of them, let them dry out and these will be the flowers the flower girl throws! All the flower will be picked up after and kept as a keep sake!
Anyone have any other ideas!
When it comes to preserving flowers, creativity is key! Freezing flowers, as you've done, captures their beauty for future events like weddings, and can also serve as wonderful keepsakes. In addition to freezing, consider these options: 1. **Dried Flowers:** After freezing, you might want to dry the flowers to create classic dried arrangements that add a rustic charm to your home décor. 2. **Flower Displays:** Create unique displays by arranging the flowers in decorative jars or shadow boxes. This not only preserves them but also allows you to showcase memories beautifully. 3. **Potpourri:** Transform the petals into potpourri that can add fragrance to your living space, making for a nostalgic reminder of special occasions. 4. **Pressed Flowers:** Pressing flowers between the pages of a large book can yield stunning art pieces. Once dried, frame them or use them in scrapbooking. 5. **Craft Projects:** Use flowers in craft projects, such as greeting cards or as part of a scrapbook page dedicated to your relationship milestones. By employing these methods, you'll not only ensure that your boyfriend's thoughtful gifts last longer, but you'll also create memorable pieces that celebrate your relationship.
