This means that compared to the nail light (50+ watts) or a tanning bed (1500-2000 watts), it is significantly less strength, and will not penetrate through the tissue due to is low power.
⚡️The duration of exposure. You are applying 2 seconds of light each pedal press, if you were to apply just 100 lashes, that is just over 3 minutes of total exposure.
⚡️Additional safety. To ensure your client keeps their eyes closed and any additional exposure it is recommended to protect the eye with a uv blocking tape or pad. A regular lash pad can do the trick as it is such low wattage.

The UV Lash System is a game-changer for lash artists looking to improve their service efficiency and client satisfaction. One of the main advantages of this system is its ability to cure lashes fully in just 1-2 seconds, which significantly reduces the time spent on each application. Unlike traditional adhesive methods, the UV system minimizes the risk of 'stickies' by ensuring that the adhesive cures completely, making the lashes look professional and flawless. Additionally, users have reported that clients can go an average of 30% longer between lash fills, increasing client retention and potentially boosting the lash artist's business. The ingredients used in UV adhesives are sourced from FDA-registered facilities, ensuring a high standard of safety and efficacy. Another important aspect of the UV Lash System is its low power consumption. With a 5-watt LED light, there's minimal risk of skin damage or tissue penetration, making it safer for both the client and the lash artist. This is a stark contrast to typical nail curing lights which can reach much higher wattages. For lash applications involving numerous lashes, the total duration of exposure remains manageable. For added safety, it’s recommended to use UV-blocking tape to protect the client’s eyes during the application process. Adapting to LED lashing can elevate your techniques while ensuring satisfaction and safety for your clients. Explore this modern approach to lash extensions and see the difference it can make in your practice!
