One of my favorite ways to enjoy watermelon is chilling it in the fridge and eating it in bite-sized cubes as a quick snack. It’s naturally sweet and requires no added sugars, making it a healthy choice for those looking to satisfy a sweet tooth. Additionally, watermelon pairs well with savory flavors. For example, combining watermelon with feta cheese, fresh mint, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze creates a delightful summer salad that balances sweet, salty, and tart tastes. Moreover, watermelon juice or smoothies are excellent alternatives for those who prefer beverages during warm weather. Including watermelon in these drinks adds natural sweetness and essential electrolytes like potassium, which aid in recovery after exercise. If you’re looking to get creative, watermelon can even be grilled or frozen into popsicles for a unique twist. A simple way to organize food storage containers!
BEST PLACE IN KITCHEN TO STORE THESE: For me, it’s a bottom drawer because these drawers can get heavy! DONT HAVE A SPARE DRAWER? That’s okay! These can work in cabinets OR you can use a rectangular bin to store these peg boards and create a makeshift drawer for a cabinet. WHY A PEGBOARD INST
