LETS MAKE PEPPER STEAK 🫑🥩

Have you ever made pepper steak at home? It's delicious and easy. This also makes a great meal prep.

I used sirloin steak

Worcheshire sauce

Red pepper

Black pepper

Garlic powder

Low sodium soy sauce

Unsalted beef broth

Brown rice

Frozen veggies I was too lazy to cut fresh ones 🤷🏾‍♀️ ( yes it was totally fine )

Any broccoli or broccolini works

I intentionally used low sodium and unsalted as much as I could in this meal and it was still flavorful.

Safe to say this was a 10/10 🫶🏾

One of the best tips I've found for keeping this dish flavorful yet heart-healthy is to incorporate low-sodium soy sauce and unsalted beef broth, which you’ve already mentioned. This cuts down on excess salt but preserves depth of flavor thanks to Worcestershire sauce and aromatic spices like garlic powder and black pepper. I love how you used frozen veggies as a time saver—that’s a practical hack for busy days without sacrificing nutrition. Broccoli or broccolini work wonderfully here too, adding a satisfying crunch and essential vitamins. Pairing your pepper steak with brown rice completes the meal by adding whole grains, which offer fiber and sustained energy. For anyone looking to make this dish their own, consider marinating the sirloin in a mixture of low-sodium soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and crushed red pepper for at least 30 minutes to enhance tenderness and flavor. Cooking the steak quickly over high heat helps maintain juiciness while allowing the pepper flavors to permeate the meat. I also appreciate the focus on balanced seasoning. Black pepper pairs excellently with the sweetness of Worcestershire sauce and the umami from soy sauce and beef broth. This combo ensures that even with reduced salt, the dish feels rich and satisfying. When meal prepping, this pepper steak reheats very well, especially when combined with brown rice and veggies. To preserve texture, store the components separately and combine them when reheating. Overall, your approach to a flavorful, low-sodium, and easy pepper steak recipe is something I’d definitely recommend to anyone wanting a quick homemade meal without compromising on taste or health.
