Plant chore time 💚🪴

Today I decided it was finally time to give my plants a little needed TLC💚 started with a decent chop and unraveling some of the vines. Then I had to decide, do I repot now or just water and bring em back to life? New year, same me baby and we are gonna focus on the growth rather than the look for today. Stay tuned to see if these babies live 🤗 or turn into composte 😅 #CapCut #plants #plantmomlife #plantcare #plantprogress

... Read moreTaking the time to care for your plants can be incredibly rewarding, especially when it comes to climbing vines and other trailing plants. In my experience, a good plant chore day often starts with a gentle pruning session. Removing dead or unruly leaves allows the plant to redirect its energy toward healthy new growth. One thing I learned is to carefully unravel vines that have become tangled to prevent damage and encourage better airflow around the foliage. Deciding whether to repot or just water your plants can be a tough call. If the root ball looks crowded or the soil has degraded, repotting into fresh soil can make a huge difference in revitalizing your plants. However, if the roots still have space and the soil feels healthy, watering and feeding can bring life back without the shock of transplanting. I've found that timing this process with the plant’s active growth phase yields better results. It’s also important to adopt a growth-focused mindset over merely aesthetic upkeep. While having visually appealing plants feels satisfying, nurturing your plants’ health is what ensures long-term success. Patience is key—sometimes you have to give your green friends time to bounce back before seeing impressive progress. Incorporating these small but thoughtful plant chores into your routine can greatly enhance your plant parenting journey. Whether your plants thrive or need a bit more care, sharing the growth process is part of the joy of plant mom life.
