Balanced Snack Board Ideas

Snacking is a given. Most all of us do it. But we don't always do it well. You know that saying, "don't grocery shop when you're hungry" because we tend to buy way more than we need? We can apply that same principle when scrounging for snacks in our pantries, sometimes binging out on junk food way more than we originally intended.

To combat against overindulging, these days, if I'm hungry between meals, I try my best to make a more balanced plate to help keep me satisfied for a longer period of time.

Examples of easy foods for each category

Dairy: 🥚🧀 yogurt

Fruit or Veg: 🍌🍓🍇🍎🥝🥕🥒🍅

Protein: lunch meet, Protein shake/coffee, PB

Carb: 🍞🥯

Fat: 🥜🥑
